Police activity is clear at 5th Street Station. Passengers must board all trains on the eastbound platforms from 15th Street to Spring Garden Stations until further notice. Shuttle buses are canceled. Residual delays are expected while full operations are restored.
Service has resumed normal operations and normal boarding locations from 15th Street Station to Spring Garden Station. Expect residual delays.
The Market-Frankford Line is now the "L" as part of system-wide wayfinding improvements. Expect to see both old and new language used through the transition. Learn more at septa.org/metro.
The elevator to the Westbound [L] platform at 8th-Market Station is out of service until April 19, 2026. For accessible westbound travel, riders are advised to utilize 5th St/Independence Hall Station, or any westbound bus on Market Street.
