Service is operating with delays in both directions due to fire department activity at Spring Garden Station. Passengers must board all trains on the westbound platforms from Berks Station to 5th Street Station until further notice. Shuttle buses are cancelled.
The elevator to the Westbound [L] platform at 8th-Market Station is out of service until April 19, 2026. For accessible westbound travel, riders are advised to utilize 5th St/Independence Hall Station, or any westbound bus on Market Street.
From 10 pm on Friday, March 27 through the end of service on Sunday, March 29, passengers must board all trains on the eastbound platforms at Church Station and Arrott Transit Center.
