Passengers must board all southbound trains on the Express platforms from Erie to Girard Stations from 10 p.m. until the end of service on Thursday, July 31 due to scheduled track work. Southbound trains will bypass Allegheny, Susquehanna-Dauphin, and Cecil B Moore Stations.
Beginning June 3, 2024, South Mezzanine at Erie Station is closed until further notice. North Mezzanine remains open during service hours.
The Broad Street Line is now the “B” as part of system-wide wayfinding improvements. The Local is the B1, the Express is the B2 and the Spur is the B3. Expect to see both old and new language used through the transition. Learn more at septa.org/metro.
The elevator between the northbound platform and the mezzanine at Walnut-Locust Station is currently out of service. For accessible northbound service, use Race-Vine Station or bus Route 4.

Service will be reduced by 20% on the [B1] on August 24, 2025 if new state funding is not approved.
