Amtrak is beginning a project to perform maintenance and upgrades to the passenger platforms at BWI Rail Station. Starting next Monday (August 4), the northernmost half of the platform at BWI Rail Station will be out of service. Passengers must listen carefully to announcements made on board the train as not all doors will be able to open on larger trainsets. To ensure that you are able to exit the train at BWI, please detrain only where you see a uniformed Conductor.

Due to ongoing construction at and around the MARC West Baltimore station and the closure of West Mulberry Street adjacent to the station, we encourage all MARC passengers to exercise additional caution in and around the parking lots due to new traffic patterns. MARC passengers driving to the station should allow additional time to account for ongoing traffic detours and remain alert for pedestrians.
