Mechanical issues are clear. Service has resumed normal operations at Church Station and Arrott Transportation Center. Expect residual delays.
Trains are operating with delays in both directions of up to 30 minutes due to earlier mechanical issues.
One westbound train will terminate at Spring Garden Station for a turnaround to eastbound service. The next train for westbound passengers will arrive shortly after.
The Market-Frankford Line is now the "L" as part of system-wide wayfinding improvements. Expect to see both old and new language used through the transition. Learn more at septa.org/metro.
The elevator at the eastbound platform of Somerset Station is out of service until further notice. Riders requiring elevator access can exit at Allegheny Station, transfer to the westbound platform, and board a westbound train to access an elevator at Somerset Station.
From 8 pm Friday, October 10 until the end of service on Sunday, October 12, passengers must board all trains on the westbound platform at Drexel Station at 30th Street.
On Sunday, October 12 and Monday, October 13, 5th St/Independence Hall Station will be closed due to the Navy & Marine Corps 250 Parade. Visit SEPTA.org for more information.
