Beginning August 24, service on the [L] will be reduced by up to 20% due to a lack of state funding. Peak headways will go from 6 to 8 minutes. Midday headways will go from 6 to 8 minutes.

Somerset Station Elevator Out of Service Started Thu Aug 21
The elevator at the eastbound platform of Somerset Station is out of service until further notice. Riders requiring elevator access can exit at Allegheny Station, transfer to the westbound platform, and board a westbound train to access an elevator at Somerset Station.
