Virginia Beach Boulevard and Cypress Construction Started Thu Dec 18 Until Mon Jun 1
On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the City of Virginia Beach will close Virginia Beach Boulevard at Cypress Avenue for a long-term construction project. The Routes 20, 33, and 960 will operate on a detour until further notice. Customers needing board/disembark for the Routes 20 and 960 must go the 19th & Parks lineup (adjacent to the Virginia Beach Convention Center). Customers may also see delays due to traffic.

Hampton Roads Transit Resumes Regular Service Tuesday Started Mon Jan 26 Until
Hampton Roads Transit bus, light rail, ferry, paratransit, OnDemand ridesharing services and the Naval Station Norfolk Base Express will resume their regular schedule on Tuesday, January 27. Transit center information booths, administrative facilities and the Customer Service Call Center will operate on their regular schedule.
