In an effort to limit the spread of the Novel Coronavirus COVID 19, the Boston Commuter service will be cancelled until further notice. We appreciate your patience and your understanding, and we will keep you informed of any further updates.
As a result of ongoing concerns for the health and safety of maintaining operations, as well as the recent decline in ridership, the Town’s Emergency Control Group (ECG) has decided to suspend Niagara-on-the-Lake Transit Service until further notice. Suspension is effective as of Thursday, April 9, 2020.
BC Transit continues to notify its riders that CUPE Local 561 operating under First Transit has increased job action and ceased service in the Agassiz-Harrison, Central Fraser Valley, Chilliwack and Hope transit systems. This service suspension remains in place until further notice, and impacts customers in the communities of Abbotsford, Agassiz-Harrison, Chilliwack, Hope, Mission and customers using the Fraser Valley Express.
handyDART service for customers requiring transportation to renal dialysis, cancer treatment and multiple sclerosis appointments in Abbotsford and Mission has been deemed essential and continues to operate during this service disruption. All other pre-booked trips will be notified of cancellation.
BC Transit is closely monitoring the situation and sincerely apologizes to customers for the inconvenience caused by this matter. We understand the frustration felt by customers, and that the job action is difficult for everyone involved in the region.
No Service due to Construction
Detour due to Construction - King St closed between 3rd St and Lacroix St. The detour will be using Wellington and two new temporary stops have been provided on Wellington.
Richmond Field Station Line No Service. Please use AC Transit Lines 51B and 52 to 4th Street District.
The eastbound stop at 900 E / 400 S (ID:126050) is temporarily closed and effects Routes 4 and 455. Construction is expected to last for several months. The new temporary stop has been placed to the east of the intersection of 900 E/ 400 S by Village Inn Restaurant.

Due to a downed power line, Route 4 will use 300 South between Navajo Street and South Cheyenne Street in both directions.

The listed schedule in Transit app for the Downtown Looper is incomplete. The service operates every 15 minutes. Real-time information is displayed only for certain buses that arrive at each stop. Complete service schedules are posted at all Looper stops.
As of March 17, 2020, the MVRTA will be reducing service to and from Boston, until further notice. Only B1 & B6 will be running.

Effective 5/28/2025, the Walters & Butterfield stop has been temporarily moved to the intersection of Walters and Donna's Way due to construction in the area. This change will remain in effect until construction is complete.
