From Monday 20 April 2026 the partially reinstated bus Route 301 will begin operating.  

Bus Route 301 previously operated from Redfern Station to Eastgardens via Rosebery, Eastlakes and Mascot and was replaced by other routes as part of wider network changes introduced in 2021. 

These changes will provide improved connections between Rosebery, Eastlakes and Westfield Eastgardens, via Mascot shops.  

This service will operate Monday to Saturdays operating approximately every half an hour, with the first service arriving at Eastgardens just before 10am and the last service leaving Eastgardens just after 5pm.  On weekday afternoons services will operate approximately every 60 minutes. 

There will be no changes to existing bus routes in the area, such as bus route 303, 306 and 305.
