On Sunday 30 August, Route 396 buses to and from the city will be diverting while major roads in the city, Darlinghurst Moore Park and Kingsford are closed for the annual Sydney Marathon.
Route 396 services will be affected in two stages throughout the day.
From 4AM to 2PM, buses will operate as a loop service between Maroubra Beach and Randwick Junction travelling via Anzac Pde, Avoca St, Alison Rd, Belmore Rd, Avoca St, Anzac Pde then as normal.
From 2PM to 4PM, services will resume running to and from Martin Place but continue to divert around Oxford St via Foveaux St, Albion St, Crown St and Cleveland St.

From 5AM Saturday 29 August until 1AM Monday 31 August, route 304, 333, 343, 396 and 392N buses that usually run to and from Circular Quay will start and end trips at Martin Place due to road closures for Sydney Marathon events.
Buses will end trips at Martin Place, Elizabeth St, Stand C and commence trips from Martin Place, Elizabeth St, Stand E.
Catch trains to continue your trip between Martin Place and Circular Quay.
