Routes 1, 16 and 204 will detour near UC Riverside due to construction on Canyon Crest Drive starting August 28. During the detour stops 1046, 1047, 1752 and 3294 will not be served. A temporary layover zone and transfer point for routes 1, 16 and 204 have been established on Iowa Avenue at bus stop 2637, located between University Avenue and Linden Street. Route 9 is currently on detour in Lake Elsinore due to the Crump Fire and mandatory evacuations in the area. During the detour, the following bus stops are temporarily out of service: 2313, 2314, 2448, 2449 and 2450. We'll notify riders once service is restored. Starting Monday, August 4, Route 74 will be on detour due to the long-term closure of Bradley Road for construction taking place on the Bradley Bridge, over Salt Creek. Bradley Road will be closed from Pebble Beach Drive to the south of Rio Vista Drive. The closure is expected to remain in effect through fall 2026. During this time, stops 3153, 3131 and 3132 will be out of service. The closest available stops are 3130, 3152 and 3154. See map at RiversideTransit.com. The Ontario Mills Mall bus stop 3660, served by Route 204, will be temporarily closed for improvements from June 30 through October 15. During this time, Route 204 will be on detour and customers can use alternative stops on Fourth Street. See map at RiversideTransit.com. On Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, Route 200 will be temporarily detoured from 4 a.m. until 11 a.m. due to the closure of Katella Avenue, between Harbor Boulevard and Disneyland Drive, for the Disneyland Half Marathon. Bus stops 3488 and 3508 will not be served during this time. A temporary layover area, stop 3509, will be established at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Katella Avenue. Beginning Thursday, April 10 until late November, Routes 8 and 23 will follow a detour in Wildomar due to the Palomar Street Widening and Cemetery Improvement Project on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During construction, several bus stops within the impacted area will be out of service. Route 24 buses will follow a detour in Old Town Temecula on the evenings of the Sunset Market nights, which occur every second and fourth Thursday of the month all year long, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. During the event, stops 3401 and 3403 will be temporarily out of service.
