Routes 1 westbound, 51 and 56 have resumed normal service near the UC Riverside campus. Bus stop 1752 UCR at Bannockburn is open and currently serves routes 1, 16, 51 and 204. Route 1 eastbound continues to detour near UC Riverside due to construction. During the detour, Route 1 eastbound will not serve stops 1046, 1047 and 3294. Starting Monday, August 4, Route 74 will be on detour due to the long-term closure of Bradley Road for construction taking place on the Bradley Bridge, over Salt Creek. Bradley Road will be closed from Pebble Beach Drive to the south of Rio Vista Drive. The closure is expected to remain in effect through fall 2026. During this time, stops 3153, 3131 and 3132 will be out of service. The closest available stops are 3130, 3152 and 3154. See map at RiversideTransit.com. The Ontario Mills Mall bus stop 3660, served by Route 204, will be temporarily closed for improvements from June 30 through October 15. During this time, Route 204 will be on detour and customers can use alternative stops on Fourth Street. See map at RiversideTransit.com. Beginning Thursday, April 10 until late November, Routes 8 and 23 will follow a detour in Wildomar due to the Palomar Street Widening and Cemetery Improvement Project on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During construction, several bus stops within the impacted area will be out of service. Route 24 buses will follow a detour in Old Town Temecula on the evenings of the Sunset Market nights, which occur every second and fourth Thursday of the month all year long, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. During the event, stops 3401 and 3403 will be temporarily out of service. From July 1 through August 31, all riders can ride local, CommuterLink and GoMicro buses for only 25¢. Details at RiversideTransit.com.
Youth 18 and under ride RTA buses for free. Show a valid school ID, RTA youth ID or any state-issued ID showing the rider is 18 or under. Offer ends December 31, 2026. Details at RiversideTransit.com.
