9pm Friday 29 May to 4am Monday 1 June To improve the safety and efficiency of Melbourne’s metropolitan rail network, critical safety works will be undertaken along the Werribee Line. These critical safety works form part of Metro’s annual works program to maintain and renew the rail network. What to expect: medium to high level construction noise during the set up and use of the heavy machinery rail grinding works that will cause a short-term immediate increase in noise once completed, that will decrease over time increased noise, dust and local traffic in the works area or the rail corridor traffic management in place, as required. Every effort will be made to carry out these works with respect for our valued neighbours. Works may be subject to change due to weather conditions and operational requirements.
Thursday 5 February to early-September 2026 Approximately 12 car spaces will be temporarily closed in the Wallace Avenue commuter car park for project works to install a new lift and secure bike storage facilities. For your safety, please follow signage and instructions in place during this time. The timing of these works may change depending on weather or unavoidable circumstances.
