Monday 6 July to late-July 2026 Pedestrian detours will be in place near the Mernda Station entrance from Monday 6 July to late July, while we install new fencing to improve safety. These works will update the existing pedestrian crossing between the station and shopping precinct with new fencing, line marking, tactile ground surface indicators and signage. What to expect: pedestrian detours at times traffic management or staff may be in place near the crossing short-term noise from machinery while fencing is installed temporary fencing or exclusion zones around work areas.
