Friday 21 August to Tuesday 22 September Up to 60 spaces in Hammond Road car park are closed due to project works. Alternative parking is available in the car park off Carroll Lane. 11pm Friday 4 September to 4am Monday 7 September There are night and weekend works occurring at Dandenong Station to renew tactile ground surface indicators (TGSIs) on platforms 1 and 2. Medium to high levels of noise may be experienced at the station and around the Station Street rail access pad at times. These works will coincide with trains not running on the Cranbourne and Pakenham Line to reduce disruptions to passengers. Buses will replace trains during this time. The timing of these works may change depending on weather or unavoidable circumstances.
11pm Friday 4 September to 4am Monday 7 September To improve the safety and efficiency of Melbourne’s metropolitan rail network, critical safety works will be undertaken along the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines. These critical safety works form part of Metro’s annual works program to maintain and renew the rail network. What to expect: medium to high level construction noise during the set up and use of the heavy machinery rail grinding works that will cause a short-term immediate increase in noise once completed, that will decrease over time increased noise, dust and local traffic in the works area or the rail corridor traffic management in place, as required. Every effort will be made to carry out these works with respect for our valued neighbours. Works may be subject to change due to weather conditions and operational requirements.
11pm Friday 4 September to 4am Monday 7 September There are night and weekend works occurring at Sandown Park Station to install two new Passenger Information Display Screens (PIDs) on the platform. The new PIDs will be commissioned before the end of the year. Medium to high levels of noise may be experienced at the station and around the Lightwood Road rail access pad at times. These works will coincide with trains not running on the Cranbourne and Pakenham Line to reduce disruptions to passengers. Buses will replace trains during this time. The timing of these works may change depending on weather or unavoidable circumstances.
