Due to the extreme temperatures forecasted today through Saturday, trains may need to operate at reduced speeds which could result in delays. Please check the NJ TRANSIT website, the NJ TRANSIT mobile app, or follow your line account on Twitter/X for the latest service information.
Morris and Essex, Gladstone Branch and Montclair-Boonton line rail service is suspended into and out of Hoboken Terminal due to signal issues at Lower Hack Bridge. North Jersey Coast Line is subject to up to 90-minute delays. NJ TRANSIT service on all other rail lines is subject to up to 60-minute delays and cancellations of select trains due to the impact on the equipment, related to the extreme temperatures. Midtown Direct service continues to be diverted to Hoboken. NJ TRANSIT rail tickets and passes are being cross honored on NJ TRANSIT and private carrier buses and PATH, at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken Terminal, and 33rd Street, New York and NY Waterway Ferry.
NJCL train #3275, the 6:31 PM scheduled departure from PSNY, making all local stops, will operate today 7/2/26 .
NJCL train #3514, the 7:01 PM departure from Aberdeen-Matawan scheduled to arrive in PSNY at 8:05 PM, is canceled in Aberdeen-Matawan due to excessive heat-related issues.
NJCL train #3516, the 8:06 PM departure from South Amboy scheduled to arrive in PSNY at 9:14 PM, is canceled in South Amboy due to excessive heat-related issues.
