Due to Road Work(El Cajon Pipeline Project), Route 864 Eastbound and Westbound will be on a detour and have multiple bus stop closures starting Monday, May 04, 2026 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 8am to 3:30pm. The direction and affected bus stops are listed below.

Due to the annual Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on Sunday, May 31st, there will be major service interruptions in the Downtown, Uptown (Hillcrest, Bankers Hill, University Heights), North Park, Normal Heights, Morena, Linda Vista, Bay Park and Mission Valley communities. The following MTS bus routes will be impacted:
1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 20, 30, 41, 44, 105, 120, 928, 215, 225, 235, 992

Please be advised that Route 928 will be on detour on May 31 due to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.
Trips departing from Fashion Valley Transit Center between approximately 4:00 AM and 1:30 PM will experience detours and possible delays.
Passengers normally boarding along Friars Road between Fashion Valley Road and Via De La Moda are encouraged to board at the Fashion Valley Transit Center during this time.
