Due to the annual Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on Sunday, May 31st, there will be major service interruptions in the Downtown, Uptown (Hillcrest, Bankers Hill, University Heights), North Park, Normal Heights, Morena, Linda Vista, Bay Park and Mission Valley communities. The following MTS bus routes will be impacted:
1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 20, 30, 41, 44, 105, 120, 928, 215, 225, 235, 992

On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run will take place across the cities of Chula Vista, National City, and San Diego.
The event will follow a designated route through these areas, including Downtown San Diego. As a result, drivers and transit riders should expect traffic congestion and minor delays, particularly affecting MTS bus service in Downtown San Diego.
Please be advised that Route 5 will be on detour on May 31 due to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.
During this time, Route 5 will temporarily terminate at 10th Avenue & Broadway (far side) from approximately 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
