Due to Road Work(El Cajon Pipeline Project), Route 864 Eastbound and Westbound will be on a detour and have multiple bus stop closures starting Monday, May 04, 2026 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 8am to 3:30pm. The direction and affected bus stops are listed below.

Due to the annual Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on Sunday, May 31st, there will be major service interruptions in the Downtown, Uptown (Hillcrest, Bankers Hill, University Heights), North Park, Normal Heights, Morena, Linda Vista, Bay Park and Mission Valley communities. The following MTS bus routes will be impacted:

Due to Construction, Route 848 Southbound will have a Bus Stop Closure at Woodside Ave & Los Coches Rd Stop(ID #40322) on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 through Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 from 9am to 4pm. Operators have been advised to inform passengers to make connections at Woodside Ave & Channel Rd Stop(ID #40321.)

Passengers are advised to catch routes 83,215,225,235 & 910 at Broadway & Kettner Bl (#10454)
Due to paving, the southbound 225 & northbound 235 bus stop located at G St & 14th St (#10457) will be temporarily closed 06/04/26 between the hours of 9:00pm - 5:00am.
Passengers are advised to catch either route at the temporary a - frame located between 15 St & 16th St
Due to construction at East County Square Walmart, stop 41158 will be temporarily closed 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. An A-Frame has been placed in front of the Dollar Tree at East County Square where passengers can board Route 838.
Due to a shelter glass install, the southbound Rt.235 bus stop at Miramar College TC (#23002) will be closed Tuesday, 06/02/26 between the hours of 12:00pm - 05:00pm.
Passengers are advised to make connections at the empty bus stop between the Rt.110 & Rt. 235.
