Due to Road Work(El Cajon Pipeline Project), Route 864 Eastbound and Westbound will be on a detour and have multiple bus stop closures starting Monday, May 04, 2026 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 8am to 3:30pm. The direction and affected bus stops are listed below.

Due to Construction, Route 848 Southbound will have a Bus Stop Closure at Woodside Ave & Los Coches Rd Stop(ID #40322) on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 through Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 from 9am to 4pm. Operators have been advised to inform passengers to make connections at Woodside Ave & Channel Rd Stop(ID #40321.)
Due to construction and closure on 5th Ave @ Brookes, northbound Route 3 & 120 will be detouring around this activity 4/20/26 - 6/8/26 (Mon - Fri Only) from
6:30am - 4pm each day. While on detour, Route 3 will not be able to service the bus stops on 5th @ Brookes (ID# 12429) or 5th @ Pennsylvania (ID# 12432). Passengers will be able to connect with the Route 3 at the stops on 5th @ Upas (ID# 12773) or 5th @ University (ID# 12431) in lieu of those stops.
Route 120 will not be missing any stops while on this detour.
Due to the annual Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on Sunday, May 31st, there will be major service interruptions in the Downtown, Uptown (Hillcrest, Bankers Hill, University Heights), North Park, Normal Heights, Morena, Linda Vista, Bay Park and Mission Valley communities. The following MTS bus routes will be impacted:
1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 20, 30, 41, 44, 105, 120, 928, 215, 225, 235, 992

Due to construction, the northbound route 120 bus stop located at Comstock St & Ulric St (#127360), will be temporarily closed 06/01/26 - 06/05/26 (24/7).
Passengers are advised to catch the northbound route 120 at Comstock & Linda Vista Rd (#10831)
Due to construction, the southbound route 41 and northbound route 120 bus stop #10093 at Genesee Ave. & Richland St. will be closed on Thursday 5/28/26 from 6pm-7am. Passengers are advised to make connections at Genesee Ave & Linda Vista Rd bus stop #10461.
