Due to Road Work(El Cajon Pipeline Project), Route 864 Eastbound and Westbound will be on a detour and have multiple bus stop closures starting Monday, May 04, 2026 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 8am to 3:30pm. The direction and affected bus stops are listed below.

Due to construction at East County Square Walmart, stop 41158 will be temporarily closed 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. An A-Frame has been placed in front of the Dollar Tree at East County Square where passengers can board Route 838.

Due to construction, the 834 Westbound will have a stop closure at Mission Gorge Road and Mesa Road from 07/20/26 to 08/20/26, 24 hours a day. Passengers are advised to make connections at Mission Gorge Road and Fanita Road.
Due to the Hillcrest City Fest 2026 on Sunday 8/9 from 4am to 3am Monday 8/10 Fifth Avenue will be closed from Brookes Ave to University Avenue and University Avenue will be closed from 4th Avenue to 5th Avenue as result the northbound route 120 bus stop on Fifth Avenue at University Avenue (#12431) will be closed. Passengers are advised to board the northbound route 120 at University Ave at 10th Ave.
Due to the Margaritaville Run San Diego Gaslamp on Saturday 8/8 from 4am-10am the eastbound number 2 lane on Broadway Ave will be closed between 1st Ave and 5th Ave. As a result; the bus stops on Broadway Ave at 3rd Ave (#10094) and Broadway Ave at 5th Ave (#10097) will be closed. Passengers are advised to board routes 2, 7, 215, 225, 235,901, & 992 at Broadway Ave at 1st Ave (#13314) or Broadway Ave at 6th Ave (#10099).
On Sunday, August 16th, the annual America's Finest City Half Marathon will take place impacting Downtown Routes 2, 7, 11, 120, 215, & 235. Westbound service stops on Broadway between State St and Kettner Blvd will be closed. Bus stops on 1st Ave between 'C' St and Ash St and on Front between 'B' and 'F' St will not be serviced by the Route 11. Along with the terminal on 4th Ave at 'B' St, bus stops on 5th Ave between 'E' St and Ash St for Rte 120 will be closed. Santa Fe Depot & America Plaza stops on Kettner Blvd and India St for BRT Routes 215 & 235 will be closed as well. These Downtown buses will be detoured from 4am until approximately 10:30am.
During the course of the road closures, passengers are advised to connect with service at the following bus stops;
*N/B & S/B Rte 2 & 7 at all regular Rte 2 & 7 service stops
*N/B Rte 11 at regular service stops on 1st at G St, 1st at Broadway or regular service stop on 1st at Elm St (**Expect delays on Rte 11 service, so please
plan accordingly)
*N/B Rte 120 to Sharp Hospital on 5th at Beech St (Rte 3 stop)
*S/B Rte 120 final stop to Downtown at the temporary terminal on Ash St at Second
*W/B Rte 215 & S/B Rte 235 (final stop will be Broadway at 1st)
*E/B Rte 215 & N/B Rte 235 at the 280/290 express stop on Broadway at State
**Santa Fe Depot passengers are advised to take Rte 215 and 235 on eastbound Rt 280/290 stop on Broadway at State or take trolley to City College Station to connect with these routes**
Due to road repairs, the northbound route 120 bus stop located at Health Center Dr & Mesa College Dr (#12444), will be temporarily closed 08/05/26 - 08/22/26 between the hours of 9:00pm - 5:00am (Sun - Thurs nights).
Passengers are advised to catch the northbound route 120 at Health Ctr Dr & Frost St (#12442)
Due to the Classic Car Show 5th Ave will be closed between Pennsylvania and Evans Pl. The northbound routes 3 & 120 will be on detour on Saturday 8/15 from 11:30am-4:00pm. The route 3 bus stops on 5th Ave at Brookes Ave (#12429) and 5th Ave at Pennsylvania Ave (#12432) will be closed during the event, route 120 will not miss any stops. Passengers are advised to board the routes 3 & 120 at 5th Ave at Upas St (#12773) or 5th Ave at University Ave (#12430).
Effective Monday 08/06/26, the routes 3 & 120 bus stop located at 5th Av & Upas St (#12773) will be relocated to the south side of Upas St.

As a result, the northbound route 120 stop at 5th Ave at Broadway Ave (#12426) will be closed. Passengers are advised to board the northbound route 120 at 5th Ave at C St (#12434).
