Jackson Square: The platform is undergoing renovations until fall 2025 to improve safety and accessibility. The station will be bypassed southbound (towards Forest Hills) from 9 PM to end of service nightly on September 25 - 26. Starts Fri Sep 26 Until Sat Sep 27
Riders can use Route 22 service to access Forest Hills bound service at Roxbury Crossing while the station is being bypassed. Sections of the platform will be unlevel during this period, which may make it difficult for some riders to board and exit trains. Please see station personnel or use a station call box to request assistance.
Orange Line: No train service between Forest Hills and North Station this weekend, September 27 - 28, for signal upgrades. Use shuttle buses between Forest Hills and Back Bay. Use Green Line between Copley/Back Bay and North Station. Starts Sat Sep 27 Until Mon Sep 29
Fare-Free Commuter Rail Alternative:
Riders can use the Franklin/Foxboro, Needham, or Providence/Stoughton Lines fare-free for service between Forest Hills, Ruggles, Back Bay and South Station. Regular fares will apply to travel beyond Forest Hills.

Accessible Service:
Accessible vans will be available, as needed, between North Station and Back Bay. Please see station personnel for assistance.

Travel Time:
Riders using shuttles should allow for ample extra travel time. For example, a rider travelling to Downtown Crossing from Forest Hills should budget at least an additional 30 minutes of travel time.
