Starting Monday, May 18 at 7 a.m. through Wednesday, June 2 at 7 p.m., southbound Haddon Road S.W. between Heritage Drive S.W. and 84 Avenue S.W. will be closed for watermain replacement. Route 81 will be detoured.


Northbound route 81 will travel:



  • From west on Heritage Drive S.W.

  • South on 7 Street S.W.

  • East on 86 Avenue S.W.

  • North on Haddon Road S.W.

  • East on Heritage Drive S.W.

  • Using the driveway access into Heritage Bus Terminal

  • East on Heritage Terminal Road, to regular route


Southbound route 81 will travel:



  • From east Heritage Drive S.W.

  • Using the driveway access into Heritage Bus Terminal

  • East on Heritage Terminal Road, to regular route


No stops are impacted.

Starting on Thursday, May 28, and continuing daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Saturday, May 30, there will be lane reductions on westbound Heritage Drive S.W. at Macleod Trail S.W. and the immediate area to accommodate utility work. Route 81 will be detoured


Northbound buses will travel:


  • North on Macleod Trail S.
  • East on 86 Avenue S.E.
  • North on Bonaventure Drive S.E.
  • West on Heritage Drive S.E., to regular route


The following stop will be temporarily closed:


  • NB Macleod TR @ 86 AV SE (#4206)



Please use the following temporary stop in lieu of the closed stop:


  • EB 86 AV SE @ Macleod TR (in front of Scotiabank)
