The guided busway will be closed between East Bond Street and Newearth Road. All stops between these points (except Astley Street) will be closed in both directions. As a result, services will be on diversion.

Stop F on Wilmslow Road near the Friendship Inn is closed due to roadworks taking place nearby.
The bus stop on Clarendon Road, near Park Road, is closed due to nearby building construction work taking place.
The bus stop on Ashton Lane, near the Magistrates Court, will be closed due to maintenance works taking place.
From Monday 13 July to Sunday 2 August, tram improvement works will take place at various locations on the network including between Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar, in the city centre and on the Eccles line. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.
From 19 July to 29 August, we are making minor changes to the times of Monday to Friday journeys during the quieter summer period.
Due to maintenance work, a stop closure will be implemented on Oldham Street.

On Sunday 9 August, from the start of service until 2pm, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. From Saturday 15 until Friday 28 August, track renewal works will take place on the Rochdale line. During this time, service changes will be in place. A bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops.
From Saturday 15 to Sunday 16 August, works will take place at Manchester Town Hall. To allow these works to happen safely, no trams will operate via Exchange Square. Services on the East Didsbury and Trafford Centre lines will operate via Market Street and Shudehill instead.

On Saturday 5 September, from the start of service until 2pm, improvement works will take place on the Rochdale line. During this time, no trams will operate between Freehold and Rochdale Town Centre. A bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops.

During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. During this time, the Rochdale and Bury lines will terminate at Victoria, the East Didsbury line will terminate at Exchange Square, the Manchester Airport will operate to Piccadilly and the Trafford Centre line will run to Deansgate-Castlefield. A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria until 11am.
On Sunday 20 September, from the start of service until 10am, no trams will operate through Victoria. During this time, the Rochdale and Bury lines will terminate at Victoria, the East Didsbury line will terminate at Exchange Square, the Manchester Airport will operate to Piccadilly and the Trafford Centre line will run to Deansgate-Castlefield. A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria until 11am.

During this time, the Rochdale and Bury lines will terminate at Victoria, the East Didsbury line will terminate at Exchange Square, the Manchester Airport will operate to Piccadilly and the Trafford Centre line will run to Deansgate-Castlefield. A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria until 11am.
Essential improvement works will be taking place at Prestwich Metrolink stop. Tram services will not be affected however, there may be an increased presence of staff at this stop during this time.
