Starting Monday, October 3, and continuing until further notice, University Avenue will be closed between Earl and Union to allow safe removal of debris from demolition of a nearby building. During this time, from the Downtown Transfer Point, Express Route 801 will detour via Bagot, West, King, Lower University, and Stuart, resuming regular route at Kingston General Hospital. Effective start of day Friday, February 10, and continuing until further notice, the University Avenue detour will be changed for Express Route 601/602 due to narrow traffic conditions on Alfred. University Avenue remains closed between Earl and Union until further notice to allow safe removal of debris from demolition of a nearby building.
During this time, from the intersection of University and Earl, Express Route 601 buses will detour right to Earl, left to Albert, and left to Stuart to resume regular route. The LaSalle Causeway is currently closed, and will remain CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. During this time, Express Route 601/602 will detour between the Downtown Transfer Point and Highway 15/Gore via Montreal and the Waaban Crossing. As of Wednesday, April 24, Express Route 601/602 will service Express Route 801/802 stops on Montreal between Downtown Transfer Point and Hickson. Regular service will continue to be provided to stops between Rideau Town Centre and the Innovation Drive Park & Ride.
A shuttle (Route 12A) will provide service between Niagara Park/CANEX and the Bus Terminal Transfer Point every 30 minutes. The shuttle will run Monday-Saturday from 6:10 a.m.-11:40 p.m., and on Sundays from 8:55 a.m.-8:45 p.m. Riders may transfer between the shuttle and Express Route 601/602 at temporary stops at the Highway 15/Gore intersection. As of Monday, April 15, Route 12A has been extended to service the stop on Highway 2 at Royal Military College (south side).
Stops at Royal Military College (south sides of Highway 2), Slush Puppie Place, and Barrack/King will be out of service during the Causeway closures. Started Mar 15

• Route 7A Division/Dalton buses will operate between INVISTA Centre and Clyde Industrial Park via Midland, Princess, John Counter, Division, and Dalton every 30 minutes during Monday-Saturday daytime hours (6 a.m.-7 p.m.), and every 60 minutes Monday-Saturday evenings, Sundays, and holidays.
• Route 7C Rideau Heights buses will operate between INVISTA Centre and Rideau Heights via the present route every 60 minutes Monday-Saturday evenings (after 7 p.m.), Sundays, and holidays. Routes 2 and 7C continue to provide service between the Bus Terminal Transfer Point and Rideau Heights every 30 minutes at all times.
• Combined Route 7A and 7C service will continue to operate between Midland/Cataraqui Woods and Compton/Wilson every 30 minutes at all times.
• The Route 7 has been adjusted east of Midland/Cataraqui Woods to provide better service to the Cataraqui North neighbourhood and the Cataraqui Estates Business Park.

• To provide more balanced, frequent service along Bath and Gardiners, the Route 11 schedule will shift by 15 minutes. Buses will depart Kingston Centre and Cataraqui Centre Transfer Points at :00 and :30 past the hour during weekday daytime hours. On evenings, weekends, and holidays, buses will depart Kingston Centre at :00 past the hour, and Cataraqui Centre at :30 past the hour.
• Route 11 will return to regular 30-minute Monday-Friday daytime service (6 a.m.-7 p.m.). Route 11 will remain on 60-minute service during Saturday daytime hours until further notice.
