From Monday 13 October until late 2026, route 165 and 168 services will divert due to closures for the Wollombi Road Phase 2 works.
School routes affected:
S859, S871, S873, S874, S875, S876, S879, S880, S881, S882, S883, S893, S894, S895, S896, S897, S898, S899, S908, S909, S910, S912, S913, S916, S917, S918, S924.

From 27 January 2026, school bus services that were diverted due to roadworks on Wollombi Road, Cessnock, will revert back to their original configuration. This is due to Cessnock Council suspending road works on Wollombi Road.
Services will no longer be diverted and as a result may depart and arrive earlier or have route path changes, and customers are encouraged to plan their journeys.
