Beginning Wednesday, September 9, through Friday, October 9, Route 8 in the clockwise direction will detour due to the closure of eastbound Riverside Drive for sewer improvement work in Lake Elsinore. During construction, bus stops 1320, 1321, 1322 and 1323 will be temporarily out of service. The nearest available stops are 1319 at Grand Avenue and Riverside Drive and 1324 on Machado and Joy streets. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time. Effective Sunday, September 13, stops 3491 and 3574 on University Avenue and Market Street, and stop 1147 on Market Street and 10th Street, will be discontinued. In addition, Route 12 will no longer serve stop 3490 on Orange Street and University Avenue or stop 1148 on Orange Street and 10th Street.
