Rock 'N Roll Marathon Sunday, 5/31 affecting MTS bus service Started Thu May 28 Until Sun May 31
Due to the annual Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on Sunday, May 31st, there will be major service interruptions in the Downtown, Uptown (Hillcrest, Bankers Hill, University Heights), North Park, Normal Heights, Morena, Linda Vista, Bay Park and Mission Valley communities. The following MTS bus routes will be impacted:

1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 20, 30, 41, 44, 105, 120, 928, 215, 225,992

Route 848 Southbound Bus Stop Closure Tuesday, May 26, 2026 - Tuesday, June 16th, 2026. 9AM-4PM. Due to Construction. Started Tue May 26 Until Tue Jun 16
Due to Construction, Route 848 Southbound will have a Bus Stop Closure at Woodside Ave & Los Coches Rd Stop(ID #40322) on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 through Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 from 9am to 4pm. Operators have been advised to inform passengers to make connections at Woodside Ave & Channel Rd Stop(ID #40321.)
Route 838 temporary stop closure Starts Mon Jun 1 Until Fri Oct 2
Due to construction at East County Square Walmart, stop 41158 will be temporarily closed 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. An A-Frame has been placed in front of the Dollar Tree at East County Square where passengers can board Route 838.
Route 992 Detour – Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon (May 31, 2026) Starts Sun May 31 Until Sun May 31
Please be advised that Route 992 will be on detour on May 31 due to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.
During this time, from approximately 4:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Route 992 will not serve stops along Harbor Drive between Broadway and Hawthorn Street.Passengers may utilize a temporary bus stop at Pacific Highway & Cedar Street or Bus stops located at Broadway and Kettner for service in both directions.
