SIM4X/SIM8X trips will be discontinued, more trips coming to SIM4/SIM8 Started Tue Sep 2 2025 Until Sat Dec 26
Things to know:
SIM4X and SIM8X are special express trips of the SIM4 and SIM8 routes.
Regular SIM4 and SIM8 trips will not be reduced.
Some of the express SIM4X and SIM8X trips will be converted to full route SIM4 and SIM8 trips.
These changes are part of our regular process of reviewing bus schedules and ridership demand. Discontinuing the SIM4X and SIM8X and converting some of these trips into full-route SIM4 and SIM8 trips will better use underutilized resources.
Bus service will run on a Saturday schedule Starts Fri Jul 3 Until Fri Jul 3
If your bus does not normally operate on a Saturday, it will not run today.
Southbound SIM4C and SIM8 will have extra early getaway service for the holiday Starts Thu Jul 2 Until Thu Jul 2
Early departures for the SIM4C :
From Central Park South and 6th Ave at 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 1:45 PM
From 23rd St and Broadway at 12:17 PM, 1:17 PM 2:02 PM
From Broadway and Worth St at 12:37 PM, 1:37 PM, 2:22 PM

Early departures for the SIM8 :
From 57th St and Lexington Ave at 1:35 PM
From 42nd St and 5th Ave at 1:48 PM
Southbound SIM8 service will be detoured between E 57th St/Lexington Ave and E 42nd St/5th Ave Starts Sun Jul 19 Until Sun Jul 19
Buses will run along E 57th St, Lexington Ave, E 42nd St, and 5th Ave.

Missed stops:
E 57th St and Madison Ave
5th Ave and W 55th St and W 48th St
