Starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, and continuing until 7 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 12 Avenue S.E. will be closed between Olympic Way S.E. & 5 Street S.E. for construction on the Calgary Event Centre. Route 24 will be detoured.


Inbound buses will travel:


  • From west on 12 Avenue S.E.
  • North on 6 Street S.E.
  • West on 11 Avenue S.E., to regular route

Outbound buses will travel:


  • From east on 12 Avenue S.E.
  • North on Olympic Way S.E.
  • East on 11 Avenue S.E.
  • South on 5 Street S.E.
  • East on 12 Avenue S.E., to regular route



The following stops will be temporarily closed:


  • WB 12 AV SE @ 6 ST SE (#5396)
  • WB 12 AV SE @ 5 ST SE (#7836)
  • NB Olympic WY @ 12 AV SE (#5397)
  • EB 12 AV SE @ Olympic WY SE (#6337)

Please use the following stops in lieu of the closed stops:


  • WB 12 AV SE @ 6 ST SW (near side, detour stop)
  • WB 11 AV SE @ Olympic WY SE (near side, detour stop)
  • EB 11 AV SE @ Olympic WY SE (far side, detour stop)
  • EB 12 AV SE @ 5 ST SE (#7837)
