On Sunday 7 June, no trams will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre. During this time, the East Didsbury line will operate from Piccadilly, Trafford Centre line will operate from Etihad Campus and Manchester Airport will operate from Victoria via Exchange Square.
On Sunday 12 July, improvement works will take place on the Rochdale line. During this time, no trams will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre. A bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops.

From Monday 1 to Tuesday 9 June, improvement works will take place in the city centre. During this time, no trams will operate via Shudehill or Market Street. Customers may need to change trams, take a short walk or use the free bus to continue their journeys.
To allow the Heywood 1940s event and parade to take place safely, a number of rolling road closures will be in place. As a result, bus services may operate on diversion and experience delays.
From Monday 13 July to Sunday 2 August, tram improvement works will take place at various locations on the network including between Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar, in the city centre and on the Eccles line. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.
On Sunday 9 August, from the start of service until 2pm, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. Temporary traffic lights and lane closures are in place on the following roads: Manchester Road, at the junction of Silk Street & Bolton Road, Manchester Road, at the junction of Edinburgh Way & Rochdale Valley Way and Manchester Road, at the junction of South of Montgomery Street. As a result, nearby roads are likely to see increased congestion and bus services may experience delays.
Essential improvement works will be taking place at Prestwich Metrolink stop. Tram services will not be affected however, there may be an increased presence of staff at this stop during this time.
