Greater Manchester Run 2026 Starts Sun May 31 Until Sun May 31 (Updated )
On Sunday 31 May, the Great Manchester Run will be held in Manchester City Centre. Several road closures will be implemented, which will cause disruption throughout the day. Diversions will be implemented from the first bus until the roads have been reopened in the early evening.
High Street, Walkden - Bus Stop Closure Started Mon Mar 9 Until Sat Mar 14 (Updated Fri Feb 20 )
The bus stop at Tesco on High Street is closed due to works taking place.
Prestwich Tram Stop - Improvement Works Started Mon May 18 Until Wed Aug 19 (Updated Thu May 21 )
Essential improvement works will be taking place at Prestwich Metrolink stop. Tram services will not be affected however, there may be an increased presence of staff at this stop during this time.
Piccadilly Tram Stop - Escalator out of service Started (Updated )
The escalator to exit Piccadilly Metrolink stop to the city centre or mainline station is currently out of service. Please follow the signage for the lift from platform level to the mezzanine and mainline station.
