Starting Sunday, May 24 at 6 a.m. until the end of the marathon, numerous roads will be closed for the 2026 Servus Calgary Marathon. Route 6 will be detoured.
Buses are travelling:
- South on 8 Street S.W.
- West on 17 Avenue S.W., to regular route
Stops temporarily closed:
- WB 11 AV S.W. @ 8 ST S.W. (#5304)
- WB 11 AV S.W. @ 10 ST S.W. (#8665)
- SB 14 ST S.W. @ 12 AV S.W. (#5305)
- SB 14 ST S.W. @ 14 AV S.W. (#7415)
Please use the following in lieu of the closed stops:
- SB 8 ST S.W. @ 11 AV S.W. (#5124)
- WB 17 AV S.W. @ 8 ST S.W. (#7934)
Starting Wednesday, January 7 at 9 a.m. through Friday, June 26 at 5 p.m., northbound 1 Street S.W. will be closed between 6 - 7 Avenue S.W. to accommodate utility work. Routes 6 & 101 will have a stop closure.
The following stop will be temporarily closed:
- NB 1 ST SW @ 7 AV SW (#5303) - Routes: 6 & 101
Please use the following stop in lieu of the closed stop:
- NB 1 ST SW @ 6 AV SW (#5300) - Route 101
- WB 6 AV SW @ 2 ST SW (#5118) - Route: 6
