Route 3A Detour, Bridge Closure Started Wed Mar 12 2025
Due to the ongoing Murray Street Bridge Seismic Retrofit Project, Route 3A is operating on adjusted routing in both directions. This routing is now reflected in METRO's standard schedules. Visit https://scmetro.org/seabrightshuttle for more information about the Seabright Shuttle.

Service on Seabright Avenue will return when construction allows. Riders are encouraged to check current routing and stop locations on the Routes & Schedules page, use the Transit App for trip planning and real-time information and alerts, or visit rt.scmetro.org.

Weekdays/Weekends: The timepoint for 7th Ave & Capitola Rd will be adjusted three minutes earlier for all outbound trips from River Front Transit Center.
World Cup Event Service Starts Mon Jun 1 Until Fri Jun 19
Special Service on June 16 and 19: One late night round trip will be added on June 16 and June 19 (Summer schedule) for the 9:00pm FIFA World Cup soccer match at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium (Levi's Stadium). The northbound trip will depart River Front Transit Center at 11:30pm and will not serve Scotts Valley. The return trip will depart San Jose Diridon at 12:30am and will serve Scotts Valley and Santa Cruz.
Memorial Day Holiday Starts Wed May 20 Until Mon May 25
Holiday Service Reminder: Memorial Day (Monday, May 25, 2026): No local METRO or ParaCruz service. Highway 17 Express will run on a weekend schedule. Customer Service will be closed.
