9pm to 4am each night, Monday 22 June to Wednesday 24 June To improve the safety and efficiency of Melbourne’s metropolitan rail network, critical safety works will be undertaken along the Frankston Line. These critical safety works form part of Metro’s annual works program to maintain and renew the rail network. What to expect: medium to high level construction noise during the set up and use of the heavy machinery rail grinding works that will cause a short-term immediate increase in noise once completed, that will decrease over time increased noise, dust and local traffic in the works area or the rail corridor traffic management in place, as required. Every effort will be made to carry out these works with respect for our valued neighbours. Works may be subject to change due to weather conditions and operational requirements.
First service Thursday 21 May From Thursday 21 May, the Frankston Line will have a new timetable that adds 12 extra weekly services and a frequency of five minutes or better during peak times.
Monday 22 June to Friday 3 July Due to project works, the station car park located off Etna Street will be closed. Accessible car spaces remain available. For your safety, please follow any signage and instructions in place during this time.

Until late 2026 The Parkiteer cage is closed at Mordialloc Station. Please use alternative secure bicycle parking at Parkdale or Edithvale stations.
First service Thursday 21 May From Thursday 21 May, your new station facilities include: Lift and stair access to the new platforms, with entrances at each end of the station. A passenger waiting room, seating and toilets. A new ticketing office and myki machines. A section of car parking, including two accessible car spaces. Finishing works will continue until late 2026.
