Due to Police Activity on Genesee Avenue between Derrick Dr and Balboa Ave the southbound route 41 will be on detour until further notice. As a result; the southbound route 41 stops on Genesee Ave at Derrick Dr (#11967) and Genesee Ave at Mt Etna Dr (#11968) will be closed. Passengers are advised to board on Genesee Ave at Balboa Ave (#11970).

Route 838 temporary stop closure Started Mon Jun 1 Until Fri Oct 2
Due to construction at East County Square Walmart, stop 41158 will be temporarily closed 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. An A-Frame has been placed in front of the Dollar Tree at East County Square where passengers can board Route 838.
Westbound Gilman & Myers Bus Stop Closed 6/25/23 - 9/23/26 Started Sun Jun 25 2023 Until Wed Sep 30
Effective Sunday, June 25, the westbound bus stop at Gilman & Myers will be closed due to a major construction project. The stop will be closed for approximately three years, until the summer of 2026. Southbound route 41 will service the temporary location on Gilman at Mandeville (ID# 89022). A "drop off only" stop will be located on Gilman at Russell.
