Due to construction heavy traffic at Imperial Av & 45th, eastbound route 4 buses will detour around it if needed. No stops will be missed.

Route 838 temporary stop closure Started Mon Jun 1 Until Fri Oct 2
Due to construction at East County Square Walmart, stop 41158 will be temporarily closed 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. An A-Frame has been placed in front of the Dollar Tree at East County Square where passengers can board Route 838.

Due to construction, the 834 Westbound will have a stop closure at Mission Gorge Road and Mesa Road from 07/20/26 to 08/20/26, 24 hours a day. Passengers are advised to make connections at Mission Gorge Road and Fanita Road.

Due to the Imperial bikeway project, the westbound route 4 bus stop located at Imperial Av & 25th St (#10889) will be temporarily closed 06/01/26 - 10/31/26 (24/7)

Passengers are advised to catch the westbound route 4 at Imperial Av & 26th St (#10896)
Route 4 Petco Park: Rufus Du Sol 8/15 Starts Sat Aug 15 Until Sat Aug 15

The event will have large crowds and is expected to create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the westbound Route 4 is subject to detouring off Imperial Ave at 20th up to 2 hours before each game and up to 1 hour after each game.

If detour is needed, Westbound Route 4 service stop (#11258) on Imperial @ 16th will be closed.

If detour is needed after the event, Eastbound Route 4 service stop (#10115) will be closed.

All buses will continue to service the 12th and Imperial Transit Station
