Due to Road Work(El Cajon Pipeline Project), Route 864 Eastbound and Westbound will be on a detour and have multiple bus stop closures starting Monday, May 04, 2026 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 8am to 3:30pm. The direction and affected bus stops are listed below.

Due to construction at East County Square Walmart, stop 41158 will be temporarily closed 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. An A-Frame has been placed in front of the Dollar Tree at East County Square where passengers can board Route 838.
Due to construction, the westbound route 4 bus stop located at Imperial Av & 47th St (#10997), will be temporarily closed 05/14/26 - 07/31/26 (24/7).
Passengers are advised to catch the route 4 at the a - frame located 300' east of bus stop.
Due to Construction, Route 848 Southbound will have a Bus Stop Closure at Woodside Ave & Los Coches Rd Stop(ID #40322) on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 through Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 from 9am to 4pm. Operators have been advised to inform passengers to make connections at Woodside Ave & Channel Rd Stop(ID #40321.)

Due to bikeway project, the eastbound route 4 bus stop located at Imperial Av & 45th St (#10232), will be temporarily closed 02/24/26 - 07/31/26 (24/7).
Passengers are advised to catch the eastbound route 4 on the east side of 45th at the A - Frame.
Petco park will host the San Diego Padres vs Cincinnati Reds in a 3 game series

The game will have a packed crowd and is expected to create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the westbound Route 4 is subject to detouring off Imperial Ave at 20th up to 2 hours before the event and up to 1 hour after the event.
If detour is needed, Westbound Route 4 service stop (#11258) on Imperial @ 16th will be closed.
If detour is needed after the event, Eastbound Route 4 service stop (#10115) will be closed.
All buses will continue to service the 12th and Imperial Transit Station
Due to road work, the eastbound Rt.4 bus stop at Imperial & 54th will be closed on 6/8/26 - 6/10/26 between the hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm.
Passenger are advised to make connections at Imperial & 55th #10653.
Due to construction, the Route 4 bus stops on Imperial at 32nd (ID# 11311 & #10178), will be closed on 6/8/26 thru 6/12/26 from 8am - 4pm each day. Passengers are advised to connect with the westbound Route 4 at the temporary A-Frame on Imperial Ave, 200' east of the north east corner of 32nd St. Passengers can connect with the eastbound Route 4 at Imperial @ 33rd (ID# 10187).
