Route 838 temporary stop closure Started Mon Jun 1 Until Fri Oct 2
Due to construction at East County Square Walmart, stop 41158 will be temporarily closed 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. An A-Frame has been placed in front of the Dollar Tree at East County Square where passengers can board Route 838.
Route 4 Temporary Bus Stop Closure Imperial Av & 47th St (#10997) Started Thu May 14 Until Fri Jul 31
Due to construction, the westbound route 4 bus stop located at Imperial Av & 47th St (#10997), will be temporarily closed 05/14/26 - 07/31/26 (24/7).
Passengers are advised to catch the route 4 at the a - frame located 300' east of bus stop.
Route 4 Petco Park: San Diego Padres vs Atlanta Braves 6/22 - 6/24 Started Mon Jun 22 Until Wed Jun 24
Petco park will host the San Diego Padres vs Atlanta Braves in a 3 game series

The game will have a packed crowd and is expected to create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the westbound Route 4 is subject to detouring off Imperial Ave at 20th up to 2 hours before the event and up to 1 hour after the event.

If detour is needed, Westbound Route 4 service stop (#11258) on Imperial @ 16th will be closed.

If detour is needed after the event, Eastbound Route 4 service stop (#10115) will be closed.

All buses will continue to service the 12th and Imperial Transit Station

Route 280/290 Northbound & Southbound June 23rd to June 30th. Due to Into The Horizon Music 2026. Ash St terminal will be closed 24 hours a day during these dates. Please use Pacific Hwy & Grape St to make connection with the Northbound 280/290.
Southbound 280/290 last stop will be at the A frame on Pacific Hwy & Beach St.

Due to bikeway project, the eastbound route 4 bus stop located at Imperial Av & 45th St (#10232), will be temporarily closed 02/24/26 - 07/31/26 (24/7).

Passengers are advised to catch the eastbound route 4 on the east side of 45th at the A - Frame.
Route 4 (Westbound) Temporary Stop Closure on Imperial @ 32nd (ID# 11311) Started Mon Jun 22 Until Sat Jun 27
Due to bus pad installation, the westbound Route 4 bus stop on Imperial at 32nd (ID# 11311), will be closed on 6/22/26 thru 6/27/26 from 24hrs each day. Passengers are advised to connect with the westbound Route 4 at the temporary A-Frame on Imperial Ave & 31st St

Due to construction, the eastbound Rt.4 bus stop at Jamacha Rd & Beacon Dr will be closed on 6/25/26 - 7/1/26 ( Mon - Fri only) between 7:00am - 3:30pm.
