SIM4X/SIM8X trips will be discontinued, more trips coming to SIM4/SIM8

Started Tue Sep 2 Until Sat May 23

Things to know:

These changes are part of our regular process of reviewing bus schedules and ridership demand. Discontinuing the SIM4X and SIM8X and converting some of these trips into full-route SIM4 and SIM8 trips will better use underutilized resources.

Buses may experience delays because it's a Gridlock Alert Day

Starts Thu Dec 18 Until Thu Dec 18

Bus service in Midtown may be delayed because of heavy traffic. Your bus may also make an unplanned detour to keep you moving.

You should expect additional travel time and consider using the subway or walking if possible.

See all the Gridlock Alert dates on the NYC DOT website.
