From Monday 13 October until late 2026, route 165 and 168 services will divert due to closures for the Wollombi Road Phase 2 works. 

 

School routes affected:

Cessnock school buses - service changes Started Until Fri May 8

From Tuesday 28 April 2026, bus services will be diverted due to roadworks and closure of Wollombi Road, Cessnock.

As a result of these closures, bus services and routes will be impacted due to required diversions away from Wollombi Road utilising Margaret Street, Catherine Street, Mathieson Street and Keelendi Road.

These changes may affect travel times, pickup and drop‑off locations, and timetables for passengers and students.

Bellbird Heights and Cessnock temporary bus diversion Started Mon Apr 14 2025
From Monday 14 April, route 165 and 168 services will divert from Wollombi Road, Cessnock between Francis Street and King Street. Buses will divert via Francis Street, Mathieson Street and King Street.
