Virginia Beach Boulevard and Cypress Construction Started Thu Dec 18 Until Mon Jun 1
On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the City of Virginia Beach will close Virginia Beach Boulevard at Cypress Avenue for a long-term construction project. The Routes 20, 33, and 960 will operate on a detour until further notice. Customers needing board/disembark for the Routes 20 and 960 must go the 19th & Parks lineup (adjacent to the Virginia Beach Convention Center). Customers may also see delays due to traffic.

The City of Virginia Beach is holding the Chartway Virginia Beach 10 Miler and 5K at the oceanfront, Saturday, May 9, 2026. The Routes 33, and 960 will be affected and will detour 6:00 AM - 12 noon. Customers will also see delays due to traffic.
