A heat warning from Environment Canada is in effect today for our service area. During prolonged periods of high heat, we are required to run trains at slower speeds. To ensure the safety of our customers and crew, slow orders are issued along the network. As a result, some trips may be cancelled or delayed on your line today, arriving 10 to 15 minutes later than originally scheduled at their destination. Please stay well hydrated, drink plenty of water and bring enough for your entire trip as not all GO stations have food or beverage options available. Plan ahead and give yourself extra time for travel. We know that heat-related delays can be frustrating for customers, however we must take proactive measures to ensure the GO Transit network operates safely in all kinds of weather conditions. If you are feeling unwell while travelling, please speak with the Customer Service Ambassador located in the Accessibility Coach for assistance...., for more information visit gotransit.com
