Another heat warning from Environment Canada is in effect today for our service area. During prolonged periods of high heat, we are required to run trains at slower speeds. To ensure the safety of our customers and crew, track speed reductions are issued along the network. As a result, some trips may be cancelled or delayed on your line today, arriving 10 to 15 minutes later than originally scheduled at their destination. With temperatures expected to reach and exceed 35°C, additional track speed reductions may be required across portions of our network to help ensure the continued safe operation of train service during extreme heat conditions. As a result, trains may be delayed up to 60 minutes.
