Starting Tuesday, June 23 at 1:30 a.m. through Friday, September 4 at 6 a.m., access roads to Foothills Hospital (Women's Health Centre and the bus terminal) will be closed for construction. Routes 9, 40, 90 and 104 will be detoured.

Southbound Routes 9, 40 and 104 buses will remain on southbound on 29 Street N.W. bypassing Foothills Medical Centre Campus, to regular route.

Starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 7, and continuing until 10 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 37 Street S.W. will be closed from 19 - 21 Avenue S.W. to accommodate utility work. Route 9 & MAX Teal will be affected.

Northbound buses will travel:


  • North on 37 Street S.W.
  • East on 21 Avenue S.W.
  • North on 36 Street S.W.
  • West on 19 Avenue S.W.
  • North on 37 Street S.W., to regular route

Southbound buses will travel:


  • South on 37 Street S.W.
  • West on 19 Avenue S.W.
  • South on 38 Street S.W.
  • East on 23 Avenue S.W.
  • South on 37 Street S.W., to regular route

MAX Teal will have no stop closures as a result of this detour.

Starting on Thursday, July 30, and continuing daily from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. until Saturday, August 22, northbound Elbow Drive S.W. will have a left lane closure at Malibou Road S.W. to accommodate concrete work. Routes 3 & 9 will have a stop closure.
