Starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, and continuing until 7 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 83 Street N.W. will be closed from 33 Avenue N.W. to 34 Avenue N.W. to accommodate feeder main work. Routes 53 & 721 will be detoured.


Northbound buses will travel:


  • North on 83 Street N.W.
  • East on 33 Avenue N.W.
  • North on 81 Street N.W.
  • West on 34 Avenue N.W.
  • North on 83 Street N.W., to regular route

Southbound buses will travel:


  • South on 83 Street N.W.
  • East on 34 Avenue N.W.
  • South on 81 Street N.W.
  • West on 33 Avenue N.W.
  • South on 83 Street N.W., to regular route


The following stops will be temporarily closed:


  • NB 83 ST NW @ 33 AV NW (#8035)
  • SB 83 ST NW @ 33 AV NW (#7488)


Please use the following stops in lieu of the closed stop:


  • EB 33 AV NW @ 83 ST NW (temporary stop, 34m east on 83 Street N.W.)
  • EB Bowness RD @ 83 ST NW (#5029)
  • SB 83 ST NW @ Bowness RD (temporary stop, 30m south of Bowness Road N.W.)

Starting Monday, April 20, and continuing between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays, and between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekends until Tuesday, June 30, there will be lane closures on Valley Ridge Drive N.W. west of Valley Ridge Boulevard N.W. to accommodate construction. Routes 108, 721 & 896 will have a stop closure during those times.
