Starting Tuesday, June 23 at 1:30 a.m. through Friday, September 4 at 6 a.m., access roads to Foothills Hospital (Women's Health Centre and the bus terminal) will be closed for construction. Routes 9, 40, 90 and 104 will be detoured.

Southbound Routes 9, 40 and 104 buses will remain on southbound on 29 Street N.W. bypassing Foothills Medical Centre Campus, to regular route.

Starting at 12 a.m. (midnight) on Thursday, August 27, and continuing until 11 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 34 Avenue N.W. will be closed from 78 Street - Bowcliffe Crescent N.W. and 77 Street N.W. will be closed from 34 Avenue - 36 Avenue N.W. Routes 26, 40 & 728 will be detoured.

Northbound buses will travel:


  • West on 34 Avenue N.W.
  • North on 73 Street N.W.
  • West on 37 Avenue N.W.
  • North on 77 Street N.W., to regular route

Southbound buses will travel:


  • South on 77 Street N.W.
  • East on 36 Avenue N.W.
  • South on 73 Street N.W.
  • East on 34 Avenue N.W., to regular route
