Starting Friday, October 2 at 7 p.m. through Monday, October 5 at 5 a.m., there will be a road closure on 8 Street S.E. between 11 Avenue S.E. to 17 Avenue S.E. for utility work. Route 24 will be detoured.


Inbound route 24 will travel:



  • From North on 8 Street S.E.

  • East on 17 Avenue S.E.

  • North on 9 Street S.E.

  • West on 11 Avenue S.E.

  • North on 8 Street S.E., to regular route


Outbound route 24 will travel:



  • From South on 8 Street S.E.

  • East on 11 Avenue S.E.

  • South on 9 Street S.E.

  • West on 17 Avenue S.E.

  • South on 8 Street S.E., to regular route


The following stops will be temporarily closed:



  • NB 8 ST S.E.@ 17 AV S.E. (#5395)

  • SB 8 ST S.E. @ 11 AV S.E. (#4542)


Please use the following stops in lieu of the closed stops:



  • EB 17 AV S.E. @ 8 ST S.E. - far side detour stop

Starting Friday, October 2 at 8 p.m. through Monday, October 5 at 5 a.m., 1 Street S.W. will be closed between 10 - 11 Avenue S.W. for construction. Routes 6, 24 and 90 will be affected.

Route 6 will be detoured as follows:


  • North on 1 Street S.W.
  • East on 12 Avenue S.W.
  • North on Centre Street S.
  • West on 10 Avenue S.E.
  • North on 1 Street S.W. to regular route

Route 24 will be detoured as follows:


  • East on 11 Avenue S.E.
  • North on Centre Street S.
  • West on 10 Avenue S.E.
  • North on 1 Street S.W. to regular route

Route 90 will be detoured as follows:


  • East on 12 Avenue S.E.
  • North on Centre Street S.
  • West on 10 Avenue S.E.
  • North on 1 Street S.W. to regular route

The following stops will be temporarily closed:

Starting on Monday, July 20, and continuing daily from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. until Saturday, October 31, the southbound lane on 18 Street S.E. south of Riverview Circle S.E. will be closed to accommodate construction. Route 24 will have a stop closure.
