Starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, and continuing until 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, southbound 8 Street S.W. will be closed between 18 Avenue S.W. & 19 Avenue S.W. for construction. Route 13 will be detoured.



Southbound buses will travel:


  • South on 8 Street S.W.
  • West on 17 Avenue S.W.
  • South on 9A Street N.W.
  • East on Cameron Avenue S.W.
  • East on 19 Avenue S.W.
  • South on 8 Street S.W., to regular route

Northbound buses will travel:


  • North on 8 Street S.W.
  • East on 19 Avenue S.W.
  • North on 7 Street S.W.
  • West on 18 Avenue S.W.
  • North on 8 Street S.W., to regular route

The following stops will be temporarily closed:


  • SB 8 ST SW @ 17 AV SW (#5583)
  • NB 8 ST SW @ 19 AV SW (#4679)

Please use one of the following stops in lieu of the closed stops:


  • WB 17 AV SW @ 8 ST SW (#7934)
  • NB 8 ST SW @ 19 AV SW (near side, temporary stop)

Starting on Tuesday, May 19, and continuing daily between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. until Friday, June 5, there will be a full closure of 20 Street S.W. at 50 Avenue S.W., and a parking lane closure on 50 Avenue S.W. at 20 Street S.W. Route 13 will have stop closures.
