On Sunday, September 6 from 6 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. (when the parade ends), there will be several road closures to accommodate Pride Parade. Route 1 will detoured.

Westbound:


  • From westbound Transitway (9 AV Station)
  • East on 9 Ave. S.E.
  • North on 19 St. S.E.
  • East on 17 Ave. S.E.
  • North on Deerfoot Tr.
  • West on Memorial Dr.
  • South over 4 Ave. (Reconciliation Bridge)
  • South on 3 St S.E.
  • West on 6 Ave S.E., to regular route

Eastbound:


  • East on 5 Ave. S.E.
  • Across flyover to Memorial Dr.
  • South on Deerfoot Tr.
  • West on 17 Ave. S.E.
  • South on 19 St. S.E.
  • West on 9 Ave S.E.
  • Turn into eastbound Transitway (9 AV Station), to regular route

Starting at 4 a.m. on Monday, July 13, and continuing until end of service on Wednesday, December 31, the right lane on 6 Avenue S.W. between 1 Street S.W. & Centre Street S. will be closed to accommodate construction at Suncor Energy Centre. Routes 1, 3, 17 & 101 will have a stop closure.
